At some point in the far off past, there was a child whose name was Jack, and he lived with his mother on a run of the mill. They were very poor, and the older individual made her life by turning, yet Jack was lazy to such a degree, that he would sit inactively yet relax in the sun in the sweltering atmosphere, and sit by the edge of the hearth in the winter-time. So they called him Lazy Jack. His mother couldn't get him to do anything for her, lastly told him, one Monday, that in case he didn't begin to work for his porridge she would turn him out to get his living as he could.

This blended Jack and he went out and contracted himself for the next day to a neighboring farmer for a penny; yet as he was getting back home, never having had any money, he lost it in overlooking a stream.

"You incompetent child," said his mother, "you should have put it in your pocket."

"I'll do so later," addressed Jack.

In fact, the next day, Jack went out again and contracted himself to a cowkeeper, who gave him a compartment of milk for his day of exertion. Jack took the holder and put it into the gigantic pocket of his jacket, spilling everything, sometime before he got back.

"Dear me!" said the old individual; "you should have passed on it on your head."

"I'll do so later," said Jack.

So the following day, Jack enrolled himself again to a farmer, who agreed to give him a cream cheddar for his organizations. Around evening time Jack took the cheddar and got back with it on his head. At the point when he got back the cheddar was all spoilt, some bit of it being lost, and part went head to head with his hair.

"You imbecilic brute," said his mother, "you should have passed on it mindfully in your grip."

Directly anyway Jack was strong he believed that it was hard to raise the ass on his shoulders, yet at long last, he did it and began walking home step by step with his prize.

By and by it so happened that over the range of his outing he passed a house where a rich man lived with his solitary young lady, an exquisite youngster, who was in need of a hearing aide and unfit to talk. Besides, she had never laughed in her life, and the experts said she would never talk till somebody made her snicker. So the father had given out that any man who made her laugh would get her to submit marriage.

Directly this youth happened to keep an eye out of the window when Jack was passing by with the ass on his shoulders, and the poor beast with its legs standing open to address was kicking violently and heehawing vivaciously.
